I took the design I was happiest with and thought was the cutest and started taking it to full colour. Here are the first few, as always feedback is greatly appreciated.
I think you need to turn these guys around and really lookout them in terms of how their heads connect to their necks and their necks to their bodies etc and likewise commit to thinking about their feet - my instincts are you need to look again at some real world reference in terms of ensuring you're creating characters that are 'generic in a cute way' but not in the worst way - it's a fine line, but it's the one you have to tread.
