  1. Side view needs work Jack. Think about the basic shapes in the front view. What is the head made out of - piece by piece. Think about how the features (lips, nose, cheeks, eye sockets) are individually shaped. They don't lay on the surface (like in your drawing), they are the head - Think about a human head (your own)...how do your eyes fit with your nose. What shapes are your lips and how do the relate to your cheeks, nose, jaw, and chin? What is the underlying skull? Even is this is character is going to used textured features the underlying for is very important.
